The "Kitsch" in "High-Art": A few words on Vulnerability & Value

The "non-art people" are in part, what give form to a "world of art". The star wars public has very little exposure to art and they are buried in the convenience of kitsch candy. Anyone, whom considers themselves an art player of sorts knows this dynamic is a deliberate one. The Artists and the art world V.I.P.'s are discouraged, disappointed and often times disgusted by mass indifference and apathy for art. As well a need to preserve the fragile significance of "high-art" as the esteemed identifier of the cultivated/compassionate heart of a ruling class. So, the echelon, and the class climbing cycle continues. As we separate ourselves, our interests and our substance.
